Cats Eye is a man made stone which carries a wonderful light within.  It is great for colour therapy and a fabulous ornament.  There are Blue, Green, Pink and Turquoise available in this.  Cat's Eye can also be from the Chrysoberyl family.
 
Wearing cat's eye is believed to help ward off evil and acts as a talisman to protect against unforeseen danger. This stone is commonly known to bring wealth and prosperity and/or help people regain lost wealth.  It is a grounding stone that provides a very effective protective energy. Cat's Eye dispels unwanted energy from the aura. Different colours have different properties:

  • Crystals come in different shapes and sizes, and some are small enough to be considered a choking hazard and therefore unsuitable for children under 3.  

     

    Children should always be supervised by an adult when playing with or handling crystals, as they are not your traditional “toy” and do require extra caution.  For example, some may be toxic, whether touched, ingested, inhaling dust particles or when mixed with water.  Others can be sharp in raw form, or when shattered or broken - some can be razor sharp.  

     

    When buying for children, ensure you have carried out your own research and that you understand which crystals are the most suitable.

     

    A list of resources can be found below that will help you to decide.  A good start is to look for 'health risks' sections and 'hardness' which are extremely useful.
