Tri Hita Karana is the traditional philosophy of life -  it is popular on the island of Bali, Indonesia, and is all about balance. Tri= three, hita=happiness, karana=elements. The elements can be summed up as God-Humans-Nature. Finding the balance between these three leads to happiness and well-being

Tri Hita Karana bangles are made with intriguing components including genuine aromatic sandalwood beads. Each design is inspired by different elements of the Tri Hita Karnana - explained with an info sheet in each box. Their vibrant colours are eye-catching and the concept fascinating. Note some of the boxes have black ink smudges on the front as shown in the example photograph.

Appreciation - the key part of the Tri Hita Karana’s wisdom Is Appreciation. Appreciation of the Divine symbolizes colorful beads. Appreciation of our Human relationships is symbolized by the metal connections, and Appreciation of our place in nature is symbolized by the rudraksha and sandalwood beads.

Reincarnation or renewals means the spirit remains alive. The relationship between reincarnation and Tri Hita Karana is that all beings can harmonize their lives while in this world. So renewal and reincarnation are symbolized by the coin which meets human existence in the spiritual realm. The sandalwood beads describe human life inside the natural world and the metal link forged human to human.

Strength or power is important in the Tri Hita Karana. Humans are endowed with three powers in life for the force of good. The power to breathe and be alive. The power to communicate and relate. The power of thinking and reason. With these three powers, everyone can have the Strength to reach the truth and the highest level in life. The elements of this bangle reflect Breath, Communication, and Thinking.

Love of course is central to the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The bangle is inspired by the love of the Divine for us. Love of our fellow humans. Love to care for the Natural world. The dimensions of the past, present, and future are the cycles of life must be passed with the spirit of love for all creations of God. This love bangle represents that cycle of life.

Beauty and Wisdom are the embodiment of femininity found within all of us. The mythical connection between beauty and wisdom in the spirit of the Tri Hita Karana is sacred and must be respected. This bangle celebrates the beauty and wisdom of the feminine part of humanity.

Balance is all-important in the Tri Hita Karana. The combination of colors on this bangle has a deep meaning. White, Black, and Grey are defined as a balance between Good, Evil, and the space between. Understanding that goodness and badness are things that cannot be separated in life and if they can be united then nature will be balanced and achieve harmony because apart from black and white there is also grey which is a harmonic or a balancer between them.

Acceptance - the important element of Tri Hita Karana is the acceptance of imperfection. By accepting faults in others, we find beauty and wisdom. Basically, how to find perfection in imperfection. This refers to the fact of imperfection of life, nothing lasts, is not completed, and is never truly perfect. So, acceptance of imperfection brings a sense of peace in seeing the natural way of life.

Believe - an important part of the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy is to Believe or to have faith. Our Faith in the divine is symbolized by the red beads. Our Faith and Believe in our fellow humans are symbolized by the universal coin (the square in the circle representing humanity in the spiritual realm). Our Faith in Mother Nature is represented by the wooden beads and rudraksha.

Keeping crystals within your aura allows the stones to bond with your energy and if you look after them,  then they will always look after you.  Wearing gemstone bracelets can have amazing grounding properties and leave you feeling calmly in control. Not only do you have the emotional powers of the stone to ground and support you, but you also have the physical weight of a bracelet around your wrist which gives the feeling of being anchored to Mother Earth.

  • Crystals come in different shapes and sizes, and some are small enough to be considered a choking hazard and therefore unsuitable for children under 3.

Children should always be supervised by an adult when playing with or handling crystals, as they are not your traditional “toy” and do require extra caution.  For example, some may be toxic, whether touched, ingested, inhaling dust particles or when mixed with water.  Others can be sharp in raw form, or when shattered or broken - some can be razor sharp.

When buying for children, ensure you have carried out your own research and that you understand which crystals are the most suitable.
